Began his career as a television artist and then turned to an actor. His 'live' television phone-in programs are hugely popular. He has anchored shows, dubbed for films and has been a professional mimicry artist. He has graduated with a Commerce Degree.

He has played several films in Malayalam and Tamil. He got entry to the Malayalam film industry through the movie Oomapenninu Uriyaadapayyan, directed by Vinayan which was released in 2002. He has worked with great actors of Indian Cinema including Kamal Hassan, Mammootty, Mohanlal etc. One of his lifetime ambition is to get into singing. He recently recorded a devotional song album in Kochi's Vani Studio, produced by Goodluck Audios, named 'Krishnakavyam'.
